Injured Workers Day PDF Print E-mail
April 28 has been designated Injured Workers Day.  On this day, we commemorate all the workers killed or injured on the job, including soldiers that their governments have placed in harms way.

In Halifax, there will be a Ceremony hosted by the Halifax, Dartmouth and District Labour Council and the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour at  Province House (1726 Hollis) at 11:00am on the 28th of April, to commemorate injured workers.

HPC would like to take this opportunity to invite people to join us in our attendance at this ceremony as we  express our regret and remorse for the loss of the 13 Canadian Soldiers killed so far (in addition to the many more injured) in the Afghanistan deployment and other deployments throughout the year.
