Wednesday, October 10 7:30-9:00 PM
Room 303, Dalhousie Student Union Building 6136 University Ave. Halifax

Mines Action Canada will host a free public forum on citizen action against
cluster bombs in the lead up to the negotiations of a new treaty on these
weapons by 2008.

Sign the petition that was mentioned at the presentation.

As desire for a ban on these horrible, indiscriminate
cluster bombs increases, Mines Action Canada is mobilizing public action
across the country to ensure that the federal government is a strong
participant in ensuring that the world truly solves this humanitarian
problem. This event is organized in partnership with the Halifax Peace
Coalition, the Student Coalition Against War, the Canadian Red cross, Oxfam,
the Canadian International De-mining Corps and the Nova Scotia Public
Interest Research Group. For more information, please contact the Halifax
Peace Coalition at or visit us online at
